Bridging the great divide
Why did I major in journalism? I was told there would be no math. Well, that’s not entirely true. My school wisely had a math requirement, but for reasons that have eluded me for years, my SAT math scores were high enough to exempt me from having to take the dreaded calculus 101. Sometimes you just have to thank the heavens and not ask questions.
