Off-the-record? Not so fast Mr. President.

Well, it looks like President Obama’s off-the-record conversation with the editor and publisher of the Des Moines Register yesterday was off-the-record for about 24 hours.

It’s the President on line one … but the call is off-the-record!

According to Rick Green, editor of the Des Moines Register, President Obama had a 30 minute “endorsement” telephone conversation with him and his publisher yesterday. No news here, except that the Obama campaign insisted that the call was off-the-record.
