Vr3: Reputation, Relationships, Results

Take the 2012 Social Media Usage Survey Today!

The 3rd annual Vehr Communications‘ 2012 Social Media Usage Survey is here. This year we are collaborating with Enquirer Media to broadly circulate the survey to Cincinnati-area business people.

This year’s survey will help us gauge how you are using social media, both personally and professionally. This is the only survey of its kind in Cincinnati.  Please take just a few short moments to complete the survey and let us know which local non-profit we can make a $250 donation to in your name if you are selected.

We want to know: How often do area business professionals use social media? Does your company actively participate in social media? Are tablet computers displacing desktops and laptops? Are companies blocking employee access to social media websites?

What we learned last year: Some highlights from our report last year showed Cincinnati brands increased their focus on brand awareness and customer service via social media, but surprisingly, only 30% of area businesses offered some sort of media training. Additionally, our survey showed 15% more respondents saying they use smartphones and tablets.

Why it matters: Social media is changing and evolving rapidly. This survey provides a snapshot of local and national trends and how companies are evolving to utilize social media.  One year ago, Pinterest was hardly known. Today, according to studies, it is the third most visited social media site and drives more traffic to retail websites than Google+, LinkedIn, Reddit and YouTube combined. Progressive, strategic and successful businesses seek to stay in front of trends.  This survey can help you to get there.
