Katie Denis

Katie joined Vehr Communications in March 2009 when she returned home to Cincinnati after five years in Washington, D.C.  As an account executive with Vehr Communications, Katie has worked with Cincinnati Museum Center on its 2009 ballot issue campaign as well as with Greater Cincinnati Water Works, Music Hall, Metro and more.

Prior to joining Vehr Communications, Katie served as the Communications Director for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Small Business and for Congressman Steve Chabot’s 2008 reelection effort.  She also spent two years working for Senator John McCain’s campaign, political action committee and Senate office.  Additionally, Katie worked for Senator George V. Voinovich.

Katie has crafted communications strategies, worked directly with local and national press, coordinated media events and directed image and messaging for print and television advertising campaigns.  Katie is a graduate of Indiana University with a Journalism and Political Science degree.
