Nick Vehr

Nick founded Vehr Communications in 2007.  Throughout his career he has demonstrated his skills and experience at strategic thinking, leadership, business analysis, comprehensive planning and management, and big project execution. Nick has been an owner, equity partner and senior manager in for-profit firms. He has been elected and appointed to public office at the local and state levels and served on a Congressional staff in Washington, D.C. He has been a board chair, board member, president and vice president of various private and public non-profit organizations.

Nick understands that organizations must think strategically, plan effectively, execute efficiently and communicate aggressively in order to grow market share.  He knows that important organizational initiatives can fail if employees, investors, board members, trade media and others have not been informed and are not on board.  He has firsthand experience with the pressures, pitfalls and opportunities that come with a crowded room of concerned and interested citizens, disgruntled employees or concerned stakeholders.

A lover of Cincinnati, he has led and been involved in numerous initiatives to enable his home town to compete more effectively for talent and recognition.  Nick’s passion outside of work and community are his family; his wife (Laura) and kids (Lindsay, Nick and Kelsey).
